I've been a fantasy fan since I first read the Hobbit in my early teens. From there I read the LotR books and dabbled in MtG during highschool. After that, it was Hitchhiker's Guide and Discworld. However, it was the classic Tolkien-based fantasy to kept my interest. When my younger brother informed me that the GF was starting to do D&D one-shots, I knew that I had to try it at least one.
