Hi folks! My name is Maarten Boerman, relatively new on the D&D bandwagon. Got into playing through friends who live far away, enjoyed the hell out of it, and came to Gameforce for a more local experience. I started to DM shortly after becoming a player because of the interesting extra challenges, and because I wanted to give back to the community. Whaddayaknow, turns out GM’ing is at least as awesome as being a player! (Ssh, don’t tell anyone or we won’t have any players left soon!)

I love the tactics and mechanics of combat, but also the improvisational nature of role playing. My ideal table of players is engaged, encourages each other, and has the right mix between story and slap-stick comedy.
