You are working in the testing department of a company called Claw & Crown, which is famous for its manufacturing of dragonchess boards. 🐲♟️

Recently, a new company that you previously had never heard of before, has been buying up other board manufacturers. 💰

You've heard weird stories from recently fired personnel of the board manufacturers that were taken over.

Rumour on the street has it, this new company Brimstone & Bone is eyeing the Claw & Crown now. 😈👑

Now the board of directors of the Claw & Crown has asked you to figure out what Brimstone & Bone is up to. 🔍

How hostile will this take-over become? 🗡️

What type of table will this be?

Every player and every character has their own playstyle.

When facing a locked door 🚪:

• a rogue may try to lockpick it 🥷;
• a barbarian may try to knock it down 🪓;
• a wizard may try the Knock spell 🪄;
• a bard may try to seduce someone with a key 🗝️ (or seduce the lock itself 😲); and
• a ranger may simply walk around the room and make use of an open window.

Nevertheless, I expect this one-shot probably has plot discovery, roleplaying, and some combat. So you know what to expect.

The following is applicable when making a character:

• Level 6.
• Use Legacy / 2014 rules.
• All official content is allowed.
• No homebrew & No Unearth Arcana.
• For ability scores use Standard Array or Point Buy.
• For HP use average.
• Custom Lineage / Races etc. from Tasha's are allowed.
