If you want to play in this one shot please follow these rules.

- point buy / standard array

- average HP

- You can use starting equipment only

- Please think of what kind of special talent you character would have, this can be anything you like as long as it fits a standard D&D setting.

- All books are permitted for use, no homebrew content

- This one shot will be run under 5th edition 2014 rules

Once upon a time, in a land far away a group of glorious heros was tasked to find the lost city of Atlantis. That was not you guys. The fabled city of Atlantis was rediscovered by brave adventurers, sparking a new age of wonder beneath the waves. However, the glory of Atlantis was short-lived. Now, the once-thriving metropolis lies in ruin, its shimmering towers crumbling and its people scattered. A mysterious calamity has gripped the city, and the proud merfolk who call it home are desperate for help.

You are a group of ragtag adventurers living in the city spending the last of your money from the previous quest and have been summoned by one of the last surviving Atlantean nobles. Now you are tasked with uncovering the source of the city's downfall. Dark magic, ancient rivalries, and forgotten gods stir beneath the ocean’s depths. The answers lie in the city's broken streets and flooded temples - but so too do dangers that threaten to consume not just Atlantis, but the entire oceanic world.

• This is an adventure for Level 4 characters 
• When making your own characters please use Standard Array or Point Buy, and Average HP.
• All published 5e rulebooks from before 2024 for character creation are allowed, including Tasha's lineages and optional class features.
• Unearthed Arcana, Homebrew and 2024 content is not allowed.

Deep beneath the surface of the world lies the Underdark, a realm of endless labyrinthine tunnels and caverns where the sun never shines. The Underdark is filled with races and creatures too numerous to count or list, and foremost among these are the dark elves - the drow. Hated and feared even by their fellow dwellers in darkness, the drow raid other settlements in the Underdark as well as the surface world, taking prisoners back with them. Rendered unconscious with drow poison, then collared and shackled, these prisoners are eventually sold as slaves or entertainment in the dark elves subterranean cities.

This is the closed campaign for Out of the Abyss.

Led by your pursuit of knowledge of the divine you gained entry into Candlekeep, a place of enlightened conversation and friendly debate. You find yourselves standing in front of Pillars of Pedagogy - a cluster of towers, prepared to get the most out of your visit. Will you get the answers you are looking for?
