the Dragonlance: shadow of the dragon queen campaign at gameforce eindhoven 

This is a campaign run every 3 weeks with a fixed group. 

This is a disaster! Spellcasters all over the realm cannot summon their fay familiars. Somthing must've happened in Paliparan, the Domain of Delight where a lot of fay creatures go before they get summoned using the find familiar spell.

You are either

• A member of the harpers (a semi-secret organization dedicated to preserving historical lore, maintaining the balance between nature and civilization), summoned to the Everlund stronghold for a job
• You are a wizard that is unable to summon their fimiliar, looking to solve this issue

As usual if you create a character. Please use the following rules:

• All official content is allowed
• No homebrew
• No Unearth Arcana
• For ability score use Standard Array or Point Buy

You find yourself, along with your group, on way to the city of Doyle. A consultant detective's assistant, called John Watson, has asked you all for help with an investigation his boss has been conducting there. 
He has also asked you to drop by on some guy called Poirot. His friend has some highly rare books on amazingly interesting subjects and he'd like you to pick them up. Poirot is residing near the little village of Lupin. It's on your way to Doyle anyway.

But beware! People have been telling strange stories about the surroundings of Lupin. Maybe it's related to the weather somehow?

If you expect to meet Sherlock, please don't be disappointed that it will not happen. This mini-campaign is not a detective story... Find that weird? You will probably know why after session 1 or 2. It's elementary!

This (mini) campaign consists of about 10 to 14 sessions. You are welcome to join all of them, a few or even just one. Every session will start with a summary of the mini-campaign so far. It is to make sure everyone can follow along and thereby participate in and enjoy the session as much as possible.

This session / campaign will probably be (on a scale of 1-low to 9-heavy):

• Battleheaviness: 3 / 5
• Roleplaying: 6 / 7
• Social interaction: 7 / 5
• Mystery solving: 8 / 5
• Puzzle solving: 2 / 3
• Creative thinking: very much encouraged!

The following is applicable for this session (and the rest of the campaign):

• Level 3 (you will level up as you go further into the campaign).
• All official content is allowed.
• No homebrew.
• No Unearth Arcana.
• For ability scores use Standard Array or Point Buy.
• For HP use average.
• Custom Lineage / Races etc. from Tasha's are allowed.
• You may each select 1 common and 1 uncommon magical item for free.
• You each have 250 gold to spend on regular items before this session: so equip yourself / stock up!
• You may keep any gold you do not spend.
  (I see Potions of Healing as regular items, so buy as you like. Potion of Healing 50 GP each; Potion of Greater Healing 250 GP; Potion of Superior Healing 2500 GP)

Side notes:

• Most important is having fun.
• I am fairly new at being a DM.
• Rules are guidelines + goal is to have fun => if you want to do something fun then just say so and we'll figure out how that may go + DM decides how it plays out
• This (mini) campaign consists of about 10 to 14 sessions. Each session is open to everyone, so feel free to join if you did or did not join the previous session(s) (i.e. hop on when you want). And no obligation to join future sessions (hop off when you want).
• This story is not about detectives; that is elementary.

A new month on the calender with a adventure. We are gonna play the next adventure on the adventure D&D calender of 2024. When I was puttting his table up even I don't know wat Februari has in store for you, exept that I want you to make a:
