This table is created with new players in mind

You are a group of adventurers. During your travels you heard the story of a man who was captured by creatures but escaped. After hearing his plea you decided to check it out, perhaps there is something interesting to be found!

"I was taken by the evil dogs while camping near Agav’s bog. They dragged
me into their lair, and it wasn’t until I escaped that I knew the truth of
the place: a great and bony wing buried in the side of a hill. They chained
me in the dark with a candle made from foul wax and forced me to dig at
the marrow. Their bonds were poorly made, and I fled several days later
while they slept. What purpose did they have in mining that marrow? I
cannot say . . ." 

You can create your own character for this game with the following rules:
- For character creation use standard array or pointbuy.
- Characters are second level, any combination/multiclass of official classes are allowed. 
- Races with inherent flying speed are NOT allowed! Everything else goes
- All official books are allowed for character creation, that includes Tasha's cauldron of everything and all official WOTC products. 
- Homebrew content and Unearthed Arcana are not allowed. 

Ever want to be a swashbuckeling Pirate? Now is your chance! Captain Vingt is looking for some new crew to go after a rumoured treasure in the area and your band of friends has decided to join him.

You can create your own character with the following rules

- All official content is allowed
- No homebrew
- No Unearthed Arcana
- For ability score use Standard Array or Point Buy
- Custom Lineage / Races etc from Tasha's are allowed.

I will also provide basic charactersheets if needed.

Note that I am a beginner friendly DM. New players are always welcome at my table.

As the party has succeeded to complete the Trial by Blood by killing of the toad hag they will start the Trial of Wine amd the Trial of Water. Time is running out however as probably already people start dying of their curse.

Everyone knows and fears Lord Usher ultimate lich and head of the council of shadows, well you work for the man, as his servants and soldiers you are tasks to protect castle Shadowmaw while he is away on an “important mission”  
Speaking of... you realise than that you and your fellow pawns need to keep the prisoners fed and the swords sharp for when he returns, this is your chance to really show how well you serve his lordship and perhaps even rise in rank. 
 
Note that this is the same scenario as may 12th, and will contain simular plotpoints.
