D&D / TTRPG One-Shots

Thursday, 29 May 2025 @ 19:30

Location: Geldropseweg 83, 5611SE Eindhoven

Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.

Weekly we try to get up to 5 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)

Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.

Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

Although this is a continuation of a previous one-shot you need no prior knowledge of the system or the oneshot to partake, any landlubber welcome!

Inspired by history, fantasy, horror and rum. Your cutlass & flintlock won’t save you from the hordes of skeletons, the Kraken, or even your own crew. PIRATE BORG is a complete game based on and compatible with the award -winning MÖRK BORG RPG. But it’s also a tool kit. Most of the tables can be hacked and used with any tabletop RPG.

Find a ship. Recruit some crew. Raid, pillage, plunder, and otherwise pilfer your weasley black guts out. Get a bigger ship. Kill some things. Upgrade your ship. Sneak into a fort. Raid a port. Acquire treasure. Bury said treasure. Become infamous. Search for someone else’s treasure. Flee in terror from unfathomable creatures from the deep. Drink all of the rum. Die on the high seas. Roll a new character and do it all again.

What do I need to play?

A basic set of RPG dice (a d4 to d100)  a small notebook and a pen or pencil

What do we do with characters?

Character sheets are provided at the table, character creation is simple and in just a few easy dice rolls away (at the table)

Is there any guide?
yes there is, the game uses all the basic mechanics of the original Morg Borg system, follow the link for more information: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1j1MPj_a549k3qIGzfyx9wzmhsPIqVZwjpktCJEsg6Yk/edit#slide=id.g115f65eeade_1_202

**Campaign setting**

This campaign setting will take place in the embercore. You're a person that has lived in this horrible place as long as you can remember.

You might have once supported the ideals of the empire or you were always against it.

Maybe you finally had enough or something is forcing you to flee. Maybe some of the ideals still linger in your mind and you have a hard time leaving them behind. Either way somehow you find yourself in a search for something that can change your current situation. You're looking for the resistance. A group that only seems to exist in the hopes and dreams of the people struggling to stay alive. But you've found some clues that it's not just talk amongst the poor. You found out there might actually be a group hiding on the Lost isle. An island that once was alive until the empire cut it off completely.

You gathered your courage and left your life behind in search for the resistance.

This is a private table and can't be registered for. Please contact the Game Master if you like to know more.

Welcome, wanderers and wayfarers!

A dragonborn city in the middle of the desert, built atop a humongous fallen obelisk, has recently become a thriving hub for trade and adventure. With newly discovered dungeons filled with incredible treasures, fortune seekers from all over are flocking to its streets in search of glory.

Your goal is to help a potion maker secure their official license from the guild—but potion making is no easy task, especially in a land where resources are scarce, and bureaucracy is even harsher.

Upcoming Quest:
Your friend thanks to some help has finally passed the exam for the lowest level locense of the alchemy guild. Even though this license still is very restricted and the potion maker will probably still face a lot of prejudices you and the group want to throw him a celebration. It is your job to arrange for locarion, guests and other party essentials on theis resource lacking city.

Most sessions are focused on roleplay, so no guarentees on any combat.

- All official content is allowed. Homebrew allowed with approval (contact the DM);
- Unearthed Arcana allowed;
- For ability score use Standard Array or Point Buy;
- Custom Lineage / Races etc from Tasha's are allowed;
- The potion maker prefers to work with people that do no get him blacklisted in the city! (Chaotic is fine, but preferably keep fire and murder as a last option)

The game is welcome to anyone from beginner to veteran!
