Hello players!

A number of nights ago the fishing hamlet of Yuran was schocked by the discovery of a weird alien creature that had beached a little way away on the coast. Investigators came to the village to inspect the oceanic specimen and found the disturbing fact the thing was carrying a child. Since the discovery all contact from the fishing hamlet stopped....

Your group is hired to inspect the cause of the sudden radio silence. Arriving at the scene the hamlet looks seemingly abandoned.... You arrive late in the evening and before going out to investigate you decide to spent the night at the tavern. That night under the light of a full blood moon, the village stirs.

Character creation:

The game will be run at level 3, when creating your own character please use standard array or point buy. All official dnd content is allowed (so no homebrew). you have 100 gold to spent to upgrade your equipment. If you are unable of creating your own character, one will be provided for you.

It has been a year since my last time dm'ing at the gameforce due to scheduling issueas with school. Now that i have graduated i am free again to play, so expect to see me more often from now on :)

The story begins.

Baroness Elenore Rennet has yet to return home from a masque at Moldavia Manor two nights ago. Can the group find her and uncover the hideous secrets brooding inside the grim estate of Count Moldavia?

• This is an adventure for level 1 characters
• All official content is allowed
• No Homebrew & No Unearth Arcana
• For ability score use Standard Array or Point Buy
• For HP use average

The Lightless Beacon is a one-shot introductory scenario for Call of Cthulhu. It's been used to introduce new players to the game for many years, so I hope you'll let me show you this way :)

Set-up
It is the night of April 12th, 1926. You are on a ferry ride from Newburyport to Rockport, Massachusetts. It's a stormy night, but your captain has assured everyone he knows these waters like the back of his hand. Let's hope you can trust him...

Additional Information
- Characters will be provided on paper and/or PDF.
- Character sheets include in-game reasons for your character to be on the ferry. They also include roleplay suggestions, but they are nothing more than that.
- The scenario is roleplay and exploration heavy, but it will introduce new players to most, if not all, aspects of the game.
- New players are welcomed. I don't expect anyone to have played Call of Cthulhu before.
- If necessary, we will go over the system at the start of the session; this time has been accounted for.
