Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.
Weekly we try to get 5 a 6 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)
Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.
Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

The wealth of the great dragon Sobek has long been a pillar of the tyranical Traumerei Empire. Today, that changes. Sobek has gone to fight one of Traumerei's battles, leaving his fortress behind. Now is the moment -- it's time to run a heist on Sobek's Hoard.
The team that stands before you is the best of the best of the rebellion. No other group of adventurers would be more suited to perform this extraction. Together, using each of your own special skills, you will break into the fortress with ease, fight the enemies and traps within, and secure a special item from Sobek's hoard -- the King piece of his life-sized chess set.
Unless, of course, things go wrong. In that case, this may not be a win for the rebellion...
Please feel free to contact me on Discord if you have any questions! I am on discord as Ged#0503.

This is session 4 of the exploration of the City of Omu
A quiet ride on a boat turned hostile after a group of red cloaked assailants attacked your boat on its way to the south side of the penitula of Chult. You, the heroes of baldur bravely fought off the red robed mennace and claimed their boat as your own. shortly after you reached your destination and laid anchor off the coast.
Landing your rowboats on shore you step on to a baren wasteland, in the distance you see mountain ridges and active vulcanos spewing smoke and ash in to the sky.
In the middle you see and opening leading in to the jungle, in this direction awaits your destination of Omu. Omu is an abandoned city, but rumors speak of the Deaths curse originating from this place.
An abandoned city, nothing can be there right? its been like that for over 200 years, surely there is nothing looming there with evil intent? right...?
On your way there you have met a few note worthy characters:
- Drufi the ice giant and his two giant frost wolves, in search for Artus Cimber who currently is the current owner of a ring that is said to belong to the frost giants.
- Artus Cimber the human, wearer of the frost ring and current companion of your party. He has promised to aid the party in their search for the Soul Monger,
a device that is said to cause the Deaths Curse. In return he wants the party to help him with getting rid of the ring which he thinks is cursed.
- A rumor of red robed mages that were doing shady business around the albani basin close to where you party is currently traveling.
- Mention of a ziggurat west of the Mbala spires where a sage naga is suppost to take refuge, according to Artus she'll be able to help with the cursed ring in his possesion and may knows more asbout the death curse...
- Valindra has given you the location of 2 places of interest, the ruined city of Omu and the den of a dragon. she hasnt given more information about what kind of dragon lurks in the den.

"so what’s the deal boss? we go in whack 'm and torch the place for the insurance money, how hard can that be?"
- Hired thug #12 about to lose his job.
What is Fiasco?
is an award-winning, GM-less game for 3-5 players, designed to be played in a few hours with no preparation. During a game you engineer and play out stupid, disastrous situations, usually at the intersection of greed, fear, and lust. It’s like making your own Coen brothers movie, in about the same amount of time it’d take to watch one.
But I don't know how to play, how does this work?
The game itself roleplay & improve heavy, centring around d6's (standard 6 sided dice) these represent the relationships between characters and scenes, an in-depth run-through of the mechanics will be provided by me when we sit down, but trust me, it's rather intuitive.
So what's the story?
Well that's the fun bit, the story will be created by the shared characters and there elevatable spiral out of control.
What do I bring?
All the needed resources will be provided all you need is a good/working set of brains.
Due to the nature of the game this table will preferably be ran in English, if you have any further questions you can ask, either on here Discord find me @ FrozenSpip#8278

Blackened skies, an old abandoned theater and a group of adventures locked inside. That is what awaits you during this one-shot. As a group you've been exploring the desolate lands of Grûmvalla. Once a lush jungle, now a wasteland. How? you may wonder. Nobody knows. All that is certain is that the dead here don't stay dead. Soon you were forced to flee into an old abandoned theater. You barricaded yourself inside. But something about this place is off. An eery feeling falls over you. The faint noise of a cymbal monkey echoes through the hallways. Doors are seemingly locked and in the distance the horde is approaching.
During this one-shot your group will attempt to survive as long as possible during wave after wave of the undead (which will grow stronger and in more numbers with each wave). While simultaniously trying to attempt to discover the secrets this map has to offer.
game structure: after each wave you will get two rounds to do actions and explore, after each 4th wave there will be a short rest. The game will end when the players have reached wave 10 or if the map secret has been uncovered. (in which case the boss wave will happen sooner than wave 10). I'm planning to do this one-shot every few weeks/months to see which party can manage the furthest.
Character creation: each player will create a level 5 character using point-buy or standard array for their stats. (if you can't bring your own character, one will be provided for you). No feats are allowed! your starting equipment is a dagger, studded leather armour and whatever spell components you need for spells. No further starting equipemt is allowed. During play you will get rewared points for killing the undead or doing cool stuff and with these points you can buy upgrades and feats.

The last thing you remember is the poison taking its effect. You fall unconscious as the Drow drag you away. When you wake up, you are in a prison deep underground. It is not just your physical body that is imprisoned though, as you feel that you are slowly but surely going insane down here. You also hear about other prisoners being taken to Menzoberranzan. From the sounds of it, that place is somehow worse than here. With your mind still somewhat intact, it is up to you to find some way to escape from here.
Out of the Abyss is a D&D campaign set in the Underdark. A place deep below ground with a vast array of tunnels and caves. Some creatures call this place home, and have even build entire civilizations down here. The Drow (deep elves) are one of such creatures. Most of them are cruel, and see other creatures as either a threat, or as livestock/slaves. You start out as one of those slaves, captured by the Drow. Though even if you escape, you will still be in a part of the Underdark unfamiliar to you. The mere claustrophobia might be enough to drive you insane. This adventure will not just test you physically like fighting a Dragon would, you will also struggle to stay sane in an insane world.
Hence the tagline:
"Madness is the only escape"
Recap (spoilers):
(will add this later)
Character creation:
This adventure will be run with the 5e ruleset, so don't use OneD&D.
- All races and classes (and backgrounds) are allowed. But unless you are very skilled, I would not recommend an artificer for this adventure.
- Playing a Myconid is allowed as well. Check the following link to see how to create it (also requires using homebrew options if you use a digital tool to create your character sheet): https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LDJHDtETJ7Z916te-D6
- Since you start out captured, you have no equipment or coins other than commoners clothes (add this to your equipment list and remove the rest: https://www.dndbeyond.com/equipment/clothes-common)
- You start at level 1
- For the background story of your character, determine how and why you got caught. Where you at the wrong place at the wrong time? Did you try to steal something from the Drow and they caught you? Did you try to explore the underdark for treasure but took a wrong turn?
- If you pick a race/background/class that makes your familiar with the underdark, then do note that it doesn't mean you know the entire underdark. The tunnel network is very vast, so a lvl 1 character wouldn't even come close to grasping even just a slight part of it.
Extra info:
To get more of a feeling of what the campaign is about, check out these links:
Historical underground cities. Number 1,2 and 7 give you an idea of the tunnel networks down below. Number 3 will give you an idea of the cities/civilizations in the Underdark:
https://www.history.com/news/8-mysterious-underground-cities
And the lauch trailer, which will give you an idea of the kind of horrors that walk around (very deep) in the Underdark (which you want to avoid at low levels :) )
