D&D / TTRPG One-Shots

Thursday, 3 April 2025 @ 19:30

Location: Geldropseweg 83, 5611SE Eindhoven

Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.

Weekly we try to get up to 5 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)

Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.

Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

Oops! All bodyparts! πŸ¦΅πŸ‘οΈπŸ§ πŸ’ͺπŸ«πŸ¦ΆπŸ«€

Here is another variant of the "Oops! All..." series: "Oops! All bodyparts! πŸ¦΅πŸ§ πŸ‘οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ«πŸ¦ΆπŸ«€"

You are part of a group of adventurers who are down on their luck. πŸ€ Your last few missions ended in disaster and you barely managed to get out of there alive. You all decided to lick your wounds and do some easy work for a bit: being guards of a caravan. πŸ«πŸ«πŸ›‘οΈ

The caravan you're guarding for the last few days has reached a caravanserai πŸ•Œ in a fairly remote region of the world. While the people here share many parts of your culture, you're not fully aware of their local customs. You have even heard of vague tales of ancient, weird rituals and beliefs. πŸ€·πŸ¦‡πŸ‘Ή

The caravan owner swears these people are trustworthy; he has traded with them many times, and this trip shouldn't be any different. He simply wants to pick up spices and ingredients for medicaments that the region is known for. πŸͺ™πŸŒΆοΈπŸ΅πŸ’Š

Every player and every character has their own playstyle.

When facing a locked door πŸšͺ, a rogue may try to lockpick it πŸ₯·; a barbarian may try to knock it down πŸͺ“; a wizard may try the Knock spell πŸͺ„; a bard may try to seduce someone with a key πŸ—οΈ (or seduce the lock itself 😲); and a ranger may simply walk around the room and make use of an open window.

Nevertheless, I expect this one-shot probably has intrigue & plot discovery, roleplaying, and some combat. So you know what to expect.

The following is applicable when making a character:

  • Level 4.
  • Use Legacy / 2014 rules.
  • All official content is allowed.
  • No homebrew & No Unearth Arcana.
  • For ability scores use Standard Array or Point Buy.
  • For HP use average.
  • Custom Lineage / Races etc. from Tasha's are allowed.

Side notes:

  • Most important is having fun.
  • If you have a question, don't hesitate to send me a message on Discord (@Savanc (Sander)).

The Lich Queen's Begotten [PART 2]

The Lich-Queen of the Githyanki is one of the most malevolent beings in existence, and she is scheming to become more powerful than ever before. Our heroes must journey to the Astral Plane where they will encounter astonishing new locations and terrible new enemies. Can they thwart the diabolical plans of the Lich-Queen and save the multiverse?

This is a higher level One-Shot. If you are new to D&D or TTRPG's this might not be a session for you.
Also, as the description explains, you and your party are needed to save the multiverse. That probably is not fitting for a character that is a joke. So bringing a character that fits the story of a well trained / experienced adventurer is a requirement. Both in roleplay and/or combat.

The following rules apply for character creation:

  • Use only D&D 5e official content (pre-2024 rules)
  • Use for ability scores Standard Array or Point Buy
  • Use Average HP
  • Add to your starting equipment two uncommon magic items and 1 rare magic item
  • You cannot use magic items to fix dump stats (for example Headband of Intellect on a 8 INT character)

Harvest Day approaches in this small but prosperous village; everything should be joy and fun preparations for the big celebration, but the cheers are clouded by the dissappearance of some of the townsfolk.

A desperate cry for help will reach a group of unusual heroes.

==========

Dread is a very unique game where we won't play with dice but with a jenga tower. If you want to do something risky, you pull a piece and put it back at the top of the tower; if the tower falls, your character dies.

This will be a role-playing heavy game with a horror theme. The context for this story will be a low fantasy setting, where strange things happen, but magic is rare. We'll create the characters at the table.

TW: child death.
