Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.
Weekly we try to get 5 a 6 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)
Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.
Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

You were just minding you own business in this beautiful old antique shop called “Trinkets”. Just casually browsing through the artifacts that the old shopkeeper has collected over the years. Not really looking for anything specific. Minding your own business just as the other shoppers are doing, when suddenly a surge of energy envelops you and everyone in the surrounding area.
Disoriented you awaken in a place that you have never seen before and as far as you know you are completely alone. The air around you smells like meatballs and cranberry sauce and your surroundings are eerily quiet. Where are you? How did you end up in this place? But more importantly how will you get out?
What you can expect:
Roleplay - 5/10
Exploration - 8/10
Combat - 7/10
Puzzels solving - 7/10

In Sentinel Comics: The Roleplaying Game, you and your friends play as comic-book heroes – either from the pages of Sentinel Comics or from your own imagination! Join forces against terrible villains and fight in dangerous environments, all in a tabletop roleplaying game!
Rules are simple and will be explained at the table. But the general idea is that the player describes their action as if it were presented in a comic book panel, then determines the action or ability they want to use, gathers the dice-pool (players always roll three dice, based on the powers used and the situation) and roll. Then take the result of one of the die and modify it as needed.
For example, the hero Rockstar notices a couple bouncers that are coming to take her off the stage, so she decides to avoid these bouncers while continuing to entertain the people by using her command of stone to build a shelter that would block people from entering the stage. She decides to take an Overcome action, using her command of Stone (d12) while utilizing her creativity (d10). The show is about halfway, so her third die is a d8. She rolls all three at once and gets a 6, 8, and 3. The middle value of these would be the 4, so the story goes on with a 6 on the overcome action which succeeds but with a minor twist, to be determined by the GM.
For questions, I am available most days on discord (#Freek_Tv)
Characters will be provided

**Campaign setting**
This campaign setting will take place in the embercore. You're a person that has lived in this horrible place as long as you can remember.
You might have once supported the ideals of the empire or you were always against it.
Maybe you finally had enough or something is forcing you to flee. Maybe some of the ideals still linger in your mind and you have a hard time leaving them behind. Either way somehow you find yourself in a search for something that can change your current situation. You're looking for the resistance. A group that only seems to exist in the hopes and dreams of the people struggling to stay alive. But you've found some clues that it's not just talk amongst the poor. You found out there might actually be a group hiding on the Lost isle. An island that once was alive until the empire cut it off completely.
You gathered your courage and left your life behind in search for the resistance.

Spoilers for Baldurs Gate 1 below:
With your hurried flight from Candlekeep barely behind you, the troubles facing the Sword Coast seem an unfamiliar blur to your fractured nerves. Gorion would not have you sit idle, however, and perhaps investigating local concerns will shed some light on your own predicament. How the iron shortage or the trouble in the Nashkel mines could possibly be linked to you, you have no idea.
This adventure is a 5e conversion of the video game Baldur's Gate 1.
This table is beginner friendly. If you don't know how to create a DnD 5e character, pm me here or on discord (letabot#3490)
Character creation:
- Only races from the Player's handbook (Human, half-elf, dwarf, tiefling, halfling, gnome, dragonborn, half-orc, wood elf, high elf, dark elf)
- Point buy, average (fixed) hp on level up
- Except for the race options, all the official content is allowed.
