D&D / TTRPG One-Shots

Thursday, 11 April 2024 @ 19:30

Location: Geldropseweg 83, 5611SE Eindhoven

Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.

Weekly we try to get 5 a 6 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)

Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.

Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

"When the Wolf King carries the hammer,

thus are the final days known."

Your travels have taken you and your companions from the fertile valleys of Upper Samometopia to a little mountain village high up in the Cusacaus Mountains.

The village is remote. Hardly anyone ever visits it and newcomers are met with a decent level of distrust.

The locals have been having some problems with wolf attacks lately, but as winter is near this is not uncommon.

Little else is known about this village; simply because the village itself is unremarkable in pretty much every way.

...pretty much... every way...

Your adventure party is a heist crew of the secret organization named "The Golden Vault". Its motto is simple "Do good, no matter the cost." Missions from The Golden Vault are often illegal, but they always support a just, moral cause. For a short time, your party has been on the radar of The Golden Vault as a group of quite capable people. And you have been in touch with a handler called Meera Raheer. She has sent you on a mission twice with success. Now she needs you again for a job!

“Greetings, operatives. The Golden Vault needs you to obtain the true names of three powerful denizens of the Lower Planes: the pit fiend Karnyros, the balor Errtok, and the marilith Hexalanthe. Their true names are known to an outlaw called the Stranger, who is being transported to Mechanus on an interplanar train called the Concordant Express. This quest, should you choose to undertake it, requires you board the train, locate the Stranger, and acquire the true names from them. Expect to be contacted shortly by a quadrone named Glitch, a former train operative who now works for us. Good luck, operatives.”

You can create your own character with the following rules:

  • All official content is allowed
  • No homebrew
  • No Unearth Arcana

This game will be beginner friendly, however the scenes and scenarios are intended for mature players and include crime, death and other sleaze.

Q: What is Fiasco?
A: is an award-winning, GM-less game for 3-5 players, designed to be played in a few hours with no preparation. During a game you engineer and play out stupid, disastrous situations, usually at the intersection of greed, fear, and lust. It’s like making your own Coen brothers movie, in about the same amount of time it’d take to watch one.

Q: But I don't know how to play, how does this work?

A: The game itself roleplay & improve heavy, centring around d6's (standard 6 sided dice) these represent the relationships between characters and scenes, an in-depth run-through of the mechanics will be provided by me when we sit down, but trust me, it's rather intuitive.

Q: So what's the story?

A: Well that's the fun bit, the story will be created by the shared characters and there elevatable spiral out of control.

Q: What do I bring?

A: All the needed resources will be there!

Feel free to bring writig utencils but all other things will be provided, all you need now is a good..working .. any set of brains.
