I' m running the calender of many adventures 2024, this is the adventure of January. The calendar provides every month a battlemap with a adventure that goes with it. So pack your gear and some warm clothes and go on a adventure.

Come and wolf down the adventure!
It’s been a long time since the people of Welton have worried about anything more frightening than sheep ticks or a late frost, but a now a pack of strangely determined wolves is driving farmers from their fields and spiriting away entire flocks in the middle of the night.

With food supplies running low and their sorcerer-in-residence nowhere to be found, the village council sends out a desperate plea for brave adventurers to destroy the beasts for good. As an added bonus, the councel offers a reward of 800 GP to anyone who can wipe out a pack of wolves.

Is the job as easy as a walk in the woods, or is there more to the Wolves of Welton than mere animal cunning? There's only one way to find out...

The following is applied for this oneshot:

• This is an adventure for level 3 characters

• When making your own characters please use Standard Array or Point Buy, and Average HP.

• All published 5e rulebooks for character creation are allowed, including Tasha's lineages and optional class features.

• Unearthed Arcana and Homebrew are not allowed.

The world is not a happy place. A trip to the countryside means being torn apart by a pack of monsters. A good month means
only one or two villagers have died painfully. ‘Being fit and healthy’ means you still have half your working teeth. It’s
perhaps not surprising that children here are tough, cynical little buggers.

Wintermas has always been a day of celebration, a day to gather round the fire to drink and eat, but the presents are a mystery. Not long ago, beautiful little toys, sweets and cookies started appearing in every house across the land, all labelled
‘from Santa’. Every Wintermas morning, without fail. Most people love these presents and accept it as a blessing, but there
are others who see competition…

You can create your own character with the following rules:

• All official content is allowed
• No homebrew
• No Unearth Arcana
• For ability score use Standard Array or Point Buy
• You can add 1 uncommon or common magic item
• You can add 1 healing potion
