Elke donderdag avond organiseren wij onze One Shots evenement.
Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.
Weekly we try to get 4 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)
Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.

Halloween night. A haunted house. Will you live to see the morning?
The Old Barnaker House. Every kid has heard about it. Everybody has a different awful story about it. All of them agree it is a very bad place.
"But here you are on Halloween Night, all because of that jerk Roger. He dared you and your friends to spend the night there. You couldn’t let him bully you. You will show him who is chicken! Everybody knows that there are no such things as ghosts... right?
Get your slingshot and your pocket knife. Grab some candy and ready your Rubik’s Cube. You and your friends are going to go face-to-face with the horrors of the Barnaker House. Hopefully you will live to see the dawn."
The Dare is a one-shot scenario for Call of Cthulhu® 7th Edition.
This oneshot is set in an 1980's version of the world inspired by H.P Lovecraft and other horror authors and might include shocking and intense scenes, and might therefor not suit every players tast.
That being said, I strive to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for every player, the system works in procentiles and is quite straight-forwards for both beginning and veteran players.
Player characters will be provided, so all you need are dice and a good dose of luck!

You received a contract from the mining guild to find out what happened to the village of Vermeillon (which is close to a platinum mine).
There have been reports of mysterious disappearances, curses, kidnappings and other strange things happening there.
Whatever the cause, outsiders started to avoid the village, with the locals eventually leaving as well. As far as the guild knows, the place is now a ghost town (maybe even literally).
The search for what happened there has led you to Candlekeep, where there is a book which supposedly tells the tale of what happened in the form of a dramatic story. Hopefully this book will prepare you for the horrors that might await you at Vermeillon.

Erebos created two masks to commemorate his lovers when they passed beyond his reach. Unable to even look at the artifacts afterwards, he broke the Elpis mask into pieces and scattered them across the world of Theros. The Ainoe mask resisted all efforts to break it. Ephara, Goddess of the Polis and of all that is orderly and civilized, feared this potential for chaos and disaster. She gathered up the Ainoe mask to seal away in her most sacred temple, on the site that would later become the city of Meletis.
After finding the Ainoe mask and losing it to the evil Calisto. The Heroes heard rumors of the second part of the Elpis being on an island on the back of a kraken. It is the heroes job to get to the island and retrieve the piece.
-This is the 2nd session of a mini-campaign set in Theros, you do not have to worry about your character fitting into the world.
-All official content is allowed (including Tasha's).
-No homebrew allowed.
-For the stats you can use either point buy or the standard array.
-Your character MUST choose one of the gods of Theros to be their champion. If you don't know any of the gods of Theros, feel free to ask me here or on Discord: Siglim.

The traveling extravaganza known as the Witchlight Carnival visits your world once every eight years. You have a dim memory of sneaking into the carnival as a child without paying for a ticket. That memory has grown foggy over time, though it still conjures a weird admixture of emotions—wonder and awe mixed with loss and regret. During this childhood visit, your character lost something. You tried to find it, but the carnival owners—a pair of elves named Mister Witch and Mister Light—were decidedly unhelpful.
“Silly little screeching cricket,” said Witch. “You forgot to buy a ticket.”
“The carnival goes round and round,” said Light. “The multiverse is our playground. Nothing’s free and nothing’s lost. Every visit has its cost.”
As time passed, your heart became less heavy, and you gave less and less thought to those childhood events. Now, for reasons you can’t explain, the longing to retrieve that which you have lost has resurfaced, as though an old spell has faded away, allowing you to feel the loss as sharply as if it happened yesterday.
The Witchlight Carnival has returned, and you find yourself standing near a ticket booth by the entrance at twilight, just as the carnival is about to open. There you meet others who look as troubled as you. Without knowing how or why, you sense that each of them has lost something as well. Perhaps fate has brought you together.

On your way to the library of Candlekeep your fellowship shelters in a tavern when a big storm arrives. At first sight the tavern looks cosy and warm.
But something is amiss… You can’t quite put a finger on it. But the people are nervous and it looks like they are withholding something. You ask if something happened. But they laugh your questions away and then refuse to talk any longer.
Somehow the fire in the fireplace does not warm you anymore… foreboding that something bad is going to happen.
Are you up the meet this (indistinct) challenge? Then join me in this one-shot!
I especially encourage beginners to join this table.
P.s. I will try my best to keep my games easy and funny. So don’t get confused by the level; that doesn’t mean a lot in DND5e. It will be run in Dutch or English, whatever the players prefer. I will have predefined characters, if needed.
