D&D / TTRPG One-Shots

Thursday, 2 October 2025 @ 19:30

Location: Geldropseweg 83, 5611SE Eindhoven

Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.

Weekly we try to get up to 5 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)

Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.

Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

**Campaign setting**

This campaign setting will take place in the embercore. You're a person that has lived in this horrible place as long as you can remember.

You might have once supported the ideals of the empire or you were always against it.

Maybe you finally had enough or something is forcing you to flee. Maybe some of the ideals still linger in your mind and you have a hard time leaving them behind. Either way somehow you find yourself in a search for something that can change your current situation. You're looking for the resistance. A group that only seems to exist in the hopes and dreams of the people struggling to stay alive. But you've found some clues that it's not just talk amongst the poor. You found out there might actually be a group hiding on the Lost isle. An island that once was alive until the empire cut it off completely.

You gathered your courage and left your life behind in search for the resistance.

This is a private table and can't be registered for. Please contact the Game Master if you like to know more.

Due to me being sick this session will not continue, but Anna will run something for you

Silver waters is a small village that does business up and down Harp River. About 50 families support the merchant boats that stop for food and water supplies at the midway point between the port cities of Blue Shard and Ocean's Gate. But once a year, Ale Fest turns this sleepy little village into a gathering of more than 5,000 visitors (and growing) who come for the games, the songs and to witness the naming of the realm's best ale, earning its creator the Brewer's Prize.

For the last 10 years, Ale Fest has become a significant celebration, with taverns sending representatives to find ales that will bolster their business. Durning its early years, the village started hiring qualified guards to keep thieves away and quell the inevitable drunken brawls, and the festival grounds have a strict "no weapons" policy since. Families come for the food, the tavern games and a chance to break the monotony of small town life, while adventurers from all over visit to compete in games, enjoy a day's respite from the dangers of heroism-for-hire and (let's face it) raise a pint of three of well-deserved ale.

The event lasts for one week, with the winner of the Brewer's Prize selected on the final day. The entire event takes place in a roped-off grassy area to the immediate east of the village. Weapons must be checekd at the entrance, and any violation of this rule is swiftly dealt with by the 70+ guards patrolling the commons area.

You, as an established adventuring party, have heard about this festival on your travels through the country and decided you are deserving of a rest. Not only that, but the place will be brimming with other adventurers who carry news of the world, wizards with knowledge to share, and wealthy patrons with maps and details of long lost ruins who are looking to hire adventurers. On your way there you encounter a handful of merchants talking about a rumor that a living, breathing dragon will attend the festival.

The following is applied for this oneshot:

  • This is an adventure for level 5 characters.
  • When making your own characters please use Standard Array or Point Buy, and Average HP.
  • All published 5e rulebooks for character creation are allowed, including 2014 content, and 2024 content Tasha's lineages and optional class features.
  • If you use 2014 content you can add an extra feat to your character, to even the difference.
  • Ready to play, simplified 5th level character sheets will be available upon request. Please message me ahead of time here or on Discord. [_skyeisthelimit]

Disclaimer: I have not run a table with 2024 content before, so it is as much a learning experience for me as for you! We will make it fun!

Curtain Call: A Sharn Adventure (english only)

Curtain Call is an urban mystery adventure set in Sharn, the City of Towers, designed for a group of four or five characters of 1st–4th level. Written by Robert Adducci, Keith Baker, and Wayne Chang, published on DMsGuid.

Everyone is welcome =D

Background
In Sharn, nothing is ever simple. A paying job quickly spirals into a whirlwind of street chases, grudges, secret dealings, and unexpected turns, drawing you deeper into the intrigue of the City of Towers.

You’re quick-witted, street-smart, at least enough to keep your galifars in your pouch and your ribs unshanked. A job lands in your lap. Sounds easy enough.

Hooks (choose one):

  • A human named Max corners you in a bar. Something about a missing noble. Fifty coins (feels like seventy-five if he wants to keep his pretty face—and that hat).
  • The odd jobs board’s the usual: missing wallets, missing pets, and unreadable ancient requests. Then one stands out: Missing noble. Contact “The Max,” private investigator for hire. A sketch of a fedora-wearing man stares off dramatically. "Whose dumb enough to advertise that?"
  • Max? That you, buddy? Been a while. That hat still not in style. A favor? From back in the war? Fine… then we’re square.
  • Or maybe it’s something else. Your choice.

Character Creation

  • 5e PHB '24 + published adventure books or additions like Tasha's, Eberron related things are good.
  • LVL 3 start w/Standard Array or Point Buy and Average HP
  • Normal equipment based on class/background
  • Add 1 Common magic item for free
  • Artificer class available

Note on Older Books:
IF using Eberron Rising from the Last War, keep in mind information below.

  • Example build: Locke Enki, Artificer
  • Background: House cannith, Species: Mark of Making Human (ability score increases okay here), ADDED origin feat: Magic Initiate
  • You may add feats in Feats section of your character sheet in D&D beyond.

If using other books:

  • Backgrounds: Backgrounds from older books don’t grant ability score increases. If you use one, adjust your ability scores as follows:
    • Increase one score by 2 and a different score by 1, or
    • Increase three different scores by 1 each.
    • No score can be raised above 20.
  • Species: Older species include ability score increases. Ignore those and apply only the ability score increases from your chosen background.
  • Feats: If your background doesn’t provide a feat, you gain one Origin Feat of your choice.
  • Classes: Please use the revised main classes as legacy classes have balanced issues with them.
  • Spells and items: Pick non-legacy options.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM on here or on Discord @vinfinite.
