D&D / TTRPG One-Shots

Thursday, 8 June 2023 @ 19:30

Location: Visserstraat 18-A, 5612 BT Eindhoven

Every Thursday evening we host a One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other TTRPG adventures that are played in a single session.

Weekly we try to get 5 a 6 GM's to run a table in D&D or other TTRPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn't matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven.)

Entrance fee for playing is 3.50 euro + 1.50 euro for consumption credit.

Please check out our socials for more information about the D&D and TTRPG One-Shots

Hey all! Here's an all-time classic one-shot. Come join!

When the party’s attempt to grab a rare afternoon of downtime is interrupted by a frantic sheep equipped with a Scroll of Speak to Animals, they’re dragged into a magical grudge match that will test their strength, courage and willingness to endure baa’d puns.

Will our heroes be able to overcome a band of transmuted assassins and an extremely bitter apprentice packing dangerously unstable magic items? There’s only one way to find out…”

This light-hearted romp has some brawling, some strategy, and a lot of animals. Join this game if you want an evening of adventure, questing, and moral dilemma.

The table is run in English and is beginner friendly.

Lost mine of phandelver + Dragon of Icespire Peak #5

Phandalin is a mining town that has seen a lot of trouble in its past. History seems to repeat itself, since a lot of problems are (re-)emerging. You and your adventuring group, who were looking for new adventures and people to help, have decided that helping out Phandalin is the next step in your adventure. Perhaps you can figure out why all of a sudden Phandalin and the surrounding regions are getting such problems.

This campaign is the third session of the campaign which combines the two starter sets of Lost mines of phandelver + Dragon of Icespire Peak. So it is ideal for new and beginner players. More experienced players can join the table, but preferably only if there are no other seats at other tables.

recap (spoilers):

The adventuring group continues their fight against the Redbrands in the Rebrand hideout. After several more fights, they find the room of the leader, who has escaped. In here they found a letter that he left behind, indicating that he is working for the "Black Spider". After clearing out the remaining forces, the adventuring group is now in the redbrand hideout, recouping and considering their next move(s).

end recap

"Long ago, before the oceans receded, a great temple was
built to worship a creature of immense power, an aboleth.
When the oceans receded, the creature and many of its
servants were trapped in the depths of the temple, unable
to escape back into the open water.
The island itself seems quite, almost dangerously so. but evem deeper still beneath the waters lies the long forgotten temple itself, and
inside, the aboleth and the treasure it guards,
the Crown of the Deep"

This oneshot will be combat and rolleplay heavy, keep this in mind when creating characters using the guidelines below:

The mayor has been trying to renovate this house but he and his men keep being unable to enter further then a couple of rooms. As if the house is actively trying to keep people from entering its core. The mayor has lost lost of men trying to conquer the house but after a while realised that he was ill equipped for such a task.

It took a while of consideration but he tells you with a lot of emphasis that your party was absolutely picked to be the first to conquer this house and take whatever’s inside. There has never been any other party that went in before you.

The mayor is paying you good money and even giving some status if you somehow manage to rid this house of its lingering pests. The only thing your party has to do is keep the house in one piece and make it out alive….
